Supporters of Dean Phillips, the Democratic-Farmer-Labor candidate running for Congress in Minnesota’s 3rd District, have launched ads attacking former Vice President Joe Biden’s electability leading up to the 2020 election. The ads highlight Trump’s 2016 victory and suggest that Biden is the weakest nominee Democrats could put up against the president. The ads are being run by the Phillips’ campaign and outside groups, including a super PAC chaired by an ally of Hillary Clinton.
