WisdomTree Investments, an asset manager based in New York, has reportedly refiled an application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for a physically-backed bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF). According to Business Insider, the new filing, which was spotted in a document published on the SEC’s website on August 11, 2020, is a resubmission of WisdomTree’s ETF previously filed in June 2019.
