In response to a recent article that used the term ‘shell company’ to describe a non-traditional business business model, Comer took to Twitter to express his displeasure. He said: “It’s irresponsible and incorrect to refer to start-ups as ‘shell companies’. Many of these new businesses are legitimate, and vital to our economy and job growth. Let’s not throw around terminology that lumps entrepreneurs in with criminals.”
